– Fresh herbs (mint and basil)
– 1-inch piece of fresh ginger, sliced or grated
– 1 cinnamon stick or 1/2 teaspoon ground Ceylon cinnamon
– Ice cubes
Method
- Wash and slice the fruits.
- Tear or chop the herbs.
- Peel and slice or grate the ginger.
- In a small saucepan, combine the sliced ginger and cinnamon stick with 1 cup of water.
- Bring to a simmer and let it simmer for 5-10 minutes to infuse the flavors.
- Allow it to cool.
- In a large pitcher, mix the ready kombucha, infused ginger-cinnamon water, sliced fruits, and herbs.
- Refrigerate the mixture for at least 30 minutes to blend the flavours.
