Ingredients:
- 1 cup pitted Medjool dates
- 1/2 cup mixed seeds (such as pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, chia seeds)
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/4 tsp pepper powder
- 1/4 tsp ginger powder
- 1/4 cup almonds, chopped
- 1/4 cup desiccated coconut
- 1/2 tsp ground cardamom
Method:
- In a food processor, blend the pitted dates until they form a sticky paste.
- Take a deep non-stick pan, lightly toast the mixed seeds until fragrant, about 2-3 minutes, then let them cool.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the date paste, toasted seeds, chopped almonds, desiccated coconut, ground cardamom powder, pepper powder, ginger powder, and turmeric powder.
- Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Take small portions of the mixture and roll them into small balls (ladoos) using your hands.
- Repeat until all the mixture is used up.
- Store the ladoos in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
