YCL Tip

The addition of You Balance powder is intended to support gut health. The blend of spices like turmeric, ginger, pepper, cinnamon, and cardamom works synergistically to alleviate symptoms of constipation and indigestion, which can sometimes occur after consuming pulse-based dishes. These natural spices help enhance digestion and promote overall wellness.

Notes:

  • For a protein-rich alternative, shelled edamame can create a vibrant, green-coloured hummus.
  • Roasted sweet potatoes create a sweet and creamy hummus alternative. The natural sweetness pairs well with tahini and the other ingredients.
