A simple DIY spice tea can kickstart your gut healing. A natural blend of ginger, cumin, and fennel reduces inflammation and aids digestion.

This blend combines ginger, cumin, and fennel, each known for their digestive benefits. Ginger helps soothe the stomach lining, reducing inflammation and easing discomfort. Cumin aids digestion by stimulating enzymes, while fennel relieves bloating and gas, making this tea a gentle yet powerful remedy for digestive issues.

Make this quick and effective tea today.

Ingredients:

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds
2 cups water

Optional: a dash of honey for sweetness

Method:

  • In a saucepan, add the water and bring it to a gentle boil.
  • Add the grated ginger, cumin seeds, and fennel seeds to the boiling water.
  • Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 5–7 minutes to allow the spices to infuse.
  • Strain the tea into a cup, removing the ginger and seeds.
  • Add honey if desired and enjoy warm.

YCL Tip

Avoid adding honey to hot or boiling tea. Let your tea cool slightly before stirring it in!

This tea can be consumed once or twice a day, especially after meals, to help ease digestion and reduce inflammation.

Try this tea today to stay light on stomach post meals.
