- 1 cup warm water

- Juice of half a lemon

- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder

- A pinch of black pepper

- 4-5 fresh dandelion leaves or 1 tsp dandelion root powder/tea (if using dandelion root tea, steep separately and use as your water base)

- 4-5 fresh mint leaves

- 1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar with the mother (optional)

- A drizzle of raw honey 

Method:

  1. If using dandelion tea or powder, prepare it first by steeping in hot water for 5-10 minutes, then strain. If using fresh leaves, just add them directly.
  2. In the warm dandelion tea or prepared water, add lemon juice, ginger, turmeric, black pepper, and mint leaves.
  3. Stir well, let it sit for a few minutes, and enjoy it warm.

2. Liver Cleanse Soup with Ash Gourd or Bottle Gourd

Packed with hydrating, fiber-rich vegetables, this soup provides a gentle yet effective cleanse. Ash gourd and bottle gourd are excellent for cooling and supporting liver function, and paired with celery and spinach, they create a soup that’s nutrient-dense, easy on digestion, and perfect for flushing out impurities. Preparation Time : 10 minutes 

Total time : 20 minutes 

Ingredients:

- 1/2 cup ash gourd or bottle gourd, peeled and cubed

- 1/4 cup broccoli florets

- 1/4 cup chopped spinach

- 1/4 cup chopped celery

- 1 small garlic clove, minced

- 1/4 inch piece of fresh ginger, grated

- 1/2 tsp You balance powder 

- 1 cup vegetable broth 

- 1/4 tsp ground cumin

- Salt and black pepper, to taste

- 1/2 tbsp lemon juice

- Fresh parsley or cilantro for garnish

Method:

  1. In a small pot, combine the vegetable broth, ash gourd (or bottle gourd), broccoli, spinach, celery, garlic, ginger, You balance powder, and cumin.
  2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10-12 minutes, until all the vegetables are tender.
  3. Blend the soup to your desired consistency (smooth or chunky).
  4. Season with salt, black pepper, and add lemon juice for extra flavor.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley or cilantro, then serve warm.

- 1-2 tsp rose water 

- 3-4 drops tea tree oil or lavender oil (optional, for acne-prone skin)

Method:

  1. Grind the oats to a fine powder (or use oat flour if available).
  2. In a bowl, combine the ground oats, clay, turmeric, aloe vera gel and tea tree oil or lavender oil.
  3. Add rose water to form a paste.
  4. Apply to your face and neck, avoiding the eye area. 
  5. Leave it on for 10-15 minutes, then rinse with lukewarm water, massaging gently for mild exfoliation.

TIP: Whenever you scrub your face, use light hands. Scrubbing strongly can leave your skin with rashes and dryness. 

4. Gut Cleanse Smoothie

  2. Adjust consistency with more water if needed.
